Parking Area

There is 1 viewing tower, 1 activity center, 2 jogging trails and 13 resting shelters. This is the layout of Sama Jaya Park.

The viewing tower and activity center are located nearby parking area.

Visitor center is not far from viewing tower.

There is one Timber and Banboo Museum in the park, which used for education prupose. Local students and childen may vist the place for outdoor activities and teaching practice.

Jogging trails are sorrounded by jungle. The longer track is 870 meters and the shorter one is 1600 meters.

Before I came, I heard there is a lot of animals living here. When the time we arrived Sama Jaya Forest Park, it is about to rain. Only one monkey standed on the top of big tree to welcome us.

Just a few minutes, the rain starts like cats and dogs. Luckly, the shelters locate not far from each other, so we were able to be sheltered in time.

After rainstom, the track become wet and slip.

Lives in rainforests exist in their own way. Some trees survive by their strong root.

Others died might due to their weak roots or bad weather.

Nice small leaves flourish under trees.

Flowers and fungi grow along woods.

Does this one look like ganoderma? haha

Despite wide variety of plants, Sama Jaya also rich of monkey, insect and bird species.
